Zusammenfassung:	The motor-driven compost-shredder has a filling funnel with shaft and a discharge housing. All components (3,7,20,35) of the shredder (1) which are subject to dynamic loading by the shredded material, with the exception of stationary knife (8) are lined with highly-effective damping material (9,11,34) of wear-resistant elastomer. There can be a strip of this material on the main impact face (35) of the discharge housing. This strip can be L-shaped, with its smaller flange extending towards the chopping mechanism and chamfered at the free end. The filling shaft (7) can also be lined over the lowermost third of its surface area. USE/ADVANTAGE - Motor-driven compost-shredder operates with low noise level.
