Zusammenfassung:The invention concerns a mass flow meter for flowing media which operates on the Coriolis principle. The meter has a pipe inlet (1), a pipe (2) which conveys the flowing medium, a pipe outlet (3), a pipe drive (4) which imparts a rotational movement to the pipe and a measurement device (5) for measuring the Coriolis forces. The pipe (2) is arranged in a rotor (7) designed as a rigid body which is rotatably mounted with two or three degrees of rotational freedom in a stator (9) and driven about a shaft (6) fixed to the stator. The rotor (7) therefore forms a gyroscope to which a precessional movement, which can be evaluated by measurement methods, is imparted by the Coriolis forces.
