Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:A stator for a dynamo electric machine stator comprising a cylindrical rotor chamber, is built up of abutting pairs of laminations (8, 9), each of which has a substantially crescent-shaped portion defined between respective inner and outer semi-circular boundaries (3, 2) of equal radius, being the radius of the said rotor chamber, spaced apart one from the other along a common axis (A) of symmetry thereof, there being at respective ends of the said crescent-shaped portion a first and second wing portion (4, 5) having first end boundaries (4a) (Fig 1. not shown) that extend, away from the said common axis (A), from the respective end of the said outer semi-circular boundary (2) and having second end boundaries (4b, 5b) that extend, away from the said common axis (A), from the respective end of the said inner semi-circular boundary (3). The respective first and second end boundaries (4a, 4b, 5a, 5b) of each respective wing portion (4, 5) are similar in form to one another and so that a pair of such laminations (8, 9) can be placed in close-fitting mutual abutment at their respective second end boundaries (4b, 5b) to enable their respective inner semi-circular boundaries (3) together to define a portion of the required rotor chamber. Stator slots 10 are provided. Such a set of laminations can be stamped out from a standard blank with less wastage of metal than was possible with prior art laminations. Successive lamination pairs may be relatively rotated.
