Zusammenfassung: | The ignition element comprises an electrically heated glow element with a pair of associated supply leads, which are fed through the oil inlet connection (14) for the burner head (17). Pref. the glow element comprises a resistance wire coil (1) which is heated to a temp. of about 1000 degrees C, with part of it located within the oil inlet connection (14). Alternatively the glow element comprises a graphite block, or a metal or metal oxide film applied to a carrier. A temp. sensor is inserted in one of the supply leads for the glow element, e.g. a thermoelement or miniature BTC-element, using one of the supply leads and an auxiliary insulated metal wire. ADVANTAGE - Eliminates need for separate opening in burner head. |
