description Collapsible pushchair having an underframe (10), which comprises frame struts (19, 20), which are coupled to each other in two parallel, perpendicular planes and are partly arranged in a scissors-like manner, and a U-shaped handlebar (14), corresponding frame struts of the two planes each forming a pair, and having an attachment which has a seat surface (11) and a backrest (12). The U-shaped handlebar (14) is coupled in such a manner with its limbs (13), which form the handlebar struts, to the underframe (10), preferably in the region of the coupling of the inclination-adjustable backrest (12), that the handlebar (14) can be brought into its pivoting positions in which it is in each case held releasably by means of latching elements (22) which are arranged such that they can be displaced in parallel on the two limbs (13) of the handlebar and correspond to projections (24, 25) provided on the underframe (10). The handlebar (14) is unlatched counter to the action of a spring-elastic element (26), pressing the latching elements (22) into the latching position, by means of an operating device (27) which is common to the two latching elements (22) and is arranged on the handlebar (14). The operating device (27) comprises a Bowden cable connection (28) between the two latching elements (22), which connection is arranged within the handlebar (14), and a handle (29) which protrudes from the handlebar (14) in the region of the hand grip (15) and by means of which the Bowden cable connection (28) can be acted upon in such a manner that the latching elements (22) can be released.
