Zusammenfassung:	The sieve basket according to the invention, having sieve slots extending parallel to its symmetrical axis of rotation, consists of individual profile rods, which are fastened by welding or soldering into precise milling previously produced by recesses in carrier rings. By this means, sieve slots of the smallest width of, for example 0.2 mm, can be produced with very high accuracy, so that they are suitable for sorting fibrous suspensions, in particular those of the paper industry.
