Protective-earth contact plug socket (German-Standard mains socket) having increased water protection

The invention has the object of equipping protective-earth contact plug sockets with special protection against penetrating water, without an additional folding cover. This object is achieved by the joint arrangement of the following features: - compartmentalisation of the lateral limbs of the protective-earth contacts (9) and their passage openings (5) in the plug pot (20) of the cover (1), - arrangement of an electric-shock protection locking bolt (3) in a base space (2) of the cover (1) in front of the plug pin bushing openings (4), - arrangement of water outlet channels (6; 8) from the compartmentalised spaces (2; 15) to the front side (7) of the cover (1), - placing a wall (11) around the base (12) of the protective-earth contact (9) by means of cap walls (11) as far as the base (19) of the cover (1), and - interposition of an elastic sealing element (13) between the base (19) of the cover (1), the base (12) of the protective-earth contact (9), and a surrounding wall (11) on the cap side.
