Zusammenfassung: | An increase in quality and capacity is achieved in the consolidation in a coagulating fluid of filaments spun from a polymer solution or melt by withdrawing the consolidated filaments from the fluid via a deflecting means when the space which is filled with the coagulating fluid and in which the process of consolidation takes place is divided, over its entire length, by perforated walls extending parallel to the filaments, into three spaces. The filaments are located in the inner space and the sum of the cross-sections of the areas of the two outer regions is 60 to 130% of that of the inner region. The perforated walls have a free area of 10 to 50%. |
