Tunnelling method

The invention relates to the construction of underground installations and concerns, in particular, a tunnelling method which consists in the fact that a tunnel space is excavated in the soil and a yielding support with subsequent concreting of the inner layer of the final lining after stabilising of the rock pressure is constructed. In the method, the yielding support is constructed by the placing of arches (1), the load-bearing capacity of which lies under the limit load which is produced by the soil. Formwork panels (3) are arranged between the arches, and the space behind the formwork is then concreted, the outer layer of the final lining being produced after the concrete has hardened, the load-bearing capacity of which lining, together with the load-bearing capacity of the arches, exceeds the limit load.
