description The invention relates to a combustion engine in which the pistons rotate about the crankshaft 17, both working pistons 4 with the piston rods 6 are firmly seated on the crankshaft 17, which forms the centre axis of the circular segment rotary engine. Working piston 4 and follower piston 5 form the swept volume. The piston force developed by the working stroke acts directly on the crankshaft 17 without loss of force. The engine comprises segmental parts: a circular segment housing 1 comprises two working pistons 4 with the follower pistons 5, the piston guide linkage 7, the centre axis pin 7a which runs in the piston guide groove 3 and controls the engine cycles. The engine is cooled by the external fan cooling and the internal cooling is effected by the intake air through the inlet slot 9, at the same time cooling the pistons and the cylinder semi-circular liner 2. The heated air escapes by way of the air exchange slot 12. The results obtained include a smooth-turning engine, minimum fuel consumption due to the rotation of the pistons with high horse power output, high compression level due to the filling weight of the intake air in the swept volume. The engine is designed for overrun cut-off and, as a result, is environmentally friendly.
