| Zusammenfassung: | Device for detecting surface defects of strand-shaped products, in particular of plastic-coated metal cables or metal wires, which has a frame-shaped support (10) on which a plurality of rods (12) are fastened at one end. Their free ends are aligned with the centre of the frame and extend beyond the latter in such a way that by spreading they are capable of tangentially embracing a strand-shaped product (30) extending axially relative to the frame. The surface defects of the product (30) effect vibrating of the rods (12) which is transferred to the support (10), where they are detected, and possibly displayed, by a sensor (22) mounted there. |
