description The invention relates to a multi-flap valve for hot gases, the valve flaps of which are rotatable by drive shafts which are mounted on a common valve housing, each have an actuating lever outside the valve housing and are actuated by a common driving linkage which connects the actuating levers to one another. In order to ensure that the valve always closes with a satisfactory seal, even in the hot condition, the actuating levers 10, 11, 12 and 13 are designed as flectural bars, the flexibility of which is designed to correspond to the difference in thermal expansion occurring in operation between the valve housing 1 and the driving linkage 14a to 14d. In this way, the actuating levers 10, 11, 12 and 13 are capable of bending in order to compensate the differences in thermal expansion which occur and, at the same time, of actuating the drive shafts of the flaps with a torque which guarantees the satisfactory closing of the flaps at all times (Fig. 2).
