Zusammenfassung:	As thermo elastic support for a pump (1) with an approximately cylindrical pump housing (2) and a base plate (14), two brackets (32) are so arranged on opposing sides that they run at a tangent to the pump housing (2). Two further brackets (51, 52) enclosing an angle with one another are arranged on the end face of the pump housing (2) through which the pump shaft (5) runs. These two brackets (51, 52) are, according to the invention, mounted off-centre in such a way that a straight line (60, 61) running through the middle of the fixing point (56, 57) on the housing (2) and through the middle (64) of the pump shaft (5) encloses an angle (W) of 90 DEG with a straight line (58, 59) through the middles of the fixing points (56, 57) on the housing (2 and 54, 55) on the base plate (14). The invention is applicable in particular to pumps in auxiliary circuits in nuclear power stations.
