Zusammenfassung:	The aim of the invention is to eliminate the risk of clogging in guiding devices, in particular charging hoppers, which are enclosed on all sides, and thus to reduce the mass required in the apparatus design. The object thus consists in providing a guiding device of this type which has a self-discharging mechanism when a fixed degree of clogging has been reached. The object is achieved in that hopper-shaped segments of a charging hopper are mounted pivotably in bearings (2) at the upper periphery and are connected in the lower region so they are shut sealingly relative to one another by means of flexible connecting elements having an adjustable prestress or by means of gravity masses (8) suspended from chains (7).
