Process for reducing the viscosity of tannin solution
The presence of large amounts of tannins in formaldehyde glues causes these glues to become very viscous and difficult to dispense by spraying. The addition of ligninsulphonates, for example in the form of sulphite waste liquors, leads to a reduction in the viscosity of these glues.
