alpha -Amylase inactivator and process for its preparation

alpha -Amylase inactivator from Streptomyces tendae 4158 (ATCC 31210), which has been isolated as described in DE-A 2701890 and been subjected to further purification. It consists of 74 amino acids of the stated sequence, has aspartic acid as terminal group and has a molecular weight of 7958.
