This object is achieved by the electrode body orifice, which leads to the sample, being sealed by a synthetic, hydrophilic, organic gel which contains an aqueous solution of a neutral salt or neutral salt mixture, and the cavity being wholly or partly filled by this salt solution and/or this gel.
