Low hull drag sailing board - has hydrofoils underneath hull amidships and lift fin at either or both ends, all mounted on removable struts

The sailing board s designed to have low drag. It comprises a buoyant elongated synthetic-material hull with an approx. central fitting for a mast, a dagger board slot and one or more fins aft. In the region of the expected under-way CG, hydrofoils (7) are fitted projecting either side underneath the hull. There is also an additional lift-producing fin (9) at the bow and/or stern. Alternatively the two foils can be combined, running through underneath the hull. In both cases connecting struts (6) are used, pref. with a low-drag symmetrical profile, removably fixed to the hull underside.
