Zusammenfassung:The arrangement is for driving and evaluating a short circuit ring transducer and is esp. applicable to simple short circuit ring transducers with u- or E-shaped iron cores. It produces an output voltage or current with a good linear relationship to the ring displacement and provides simple temp. compensation. The arrangement contains a signal generator (G) producing a triangular wave voltage (U1) which is employed to drive a current source (5). The triangular wave is also fed to the input of a comparator (K) whose other input comes from a potentiometer (P) which is used to vary the phase position of the scanning pulse. The comparator output is fed to a sample-and-hold circuit (SH) via a pulse shaping circuit (MF). The phase position is independent of the supply voltage.
