Zusammenfassung:	An input switch arrangement which minimizes the number of connections needed between an array of switch members and the circuit used to detect and encode switch closure. Each switch member has four sides adapted to be connected together. The first and second sides of all switch members within a column of the array are connected to a unique pair of a plurality of column connection terminals and the third and fourth sides of all switch members within a row of the array are connected to unique pair of a plurality of row connection terminals.
