Zusammenfassung: | A colour development bath for imagewise exposed and black and white developed high speed colour reversal film contains specified amts. of (a) a competing coupler which is citrazinic acid (3-5 g/l) on 1-amino-8-naphthol-3,6-disulphonic acid (0.3-0.8 g/l) (b) ethylene diamine (6-12 g/l) as silver halide solvent (c) t-butylamine borane (0-0.015 g/l) as reversal and contrast control agent and (d) a competing non-coupling developer selected from 4-hydroxymethyl 4-methyl-1-phenyl-pyrozolidone, phenidone and phenidone derivs. (0.05-0.3 g/l). The bath pH is 11.7 and it does not contain any benzyl alcohol. The bath also includes conventional additives. Used for processing of high speed film, esp. for use on television and by news media. The process reduces the high contrast at the dark end of the tone scale and eliminates the need for post flashing. The resultant film is suitable for duplicating. |
