Zusammenfassung:The lamp holder, for ceiling lights, consists of a small hollow cylinder closed at one end and open at the other, and a larger hollow cylinder likewise closed at one end and open at the other. The small cylinder (1) is held to the ceiling by screws (2) through its closed end and the larger cylinder has the light fixed to its closed end. The larger cylinder has an internal thread and screws onto the external thread of the small cylinder. The supply lead passes through an axial hole in the end of the smaller cylinder. The advantage lies in fixing the light rigidly and providing a flush joint with the ceiling.
