Zusammenfassung:	The profile union is particularly corner unions for swimming bath edge profiles, in which a fishplate type union piece (2) has grooves (7) in which ridges (6) of the profiles to be joined engage. The union piece (2) is held against the ridges (6) by a clamping device comprising a screw (5) which is located either in profile fillets or in cross-fillets fitted under the profile (1), and engages in holes (8) of the union piece. The grooves (7) and the ridges (6) are V-shaped in cross section. The union finds application in metal swimming baths which, because of their size, cannot be transported as an integral assembly.
