Zusammenfassung: | Device for punching curved holes or slots in metal sheet, uses a round stamping punch and a die which is located in a table below a cross-table. The cross-table has a centre portion which can move in two (x, y) horizontal directions at 90 degrees to each other and which is fitted with clamps holding the sheet metal workpiece. The novelty is that an arm is fixed on the cross-table and provided with a peg which is fixed in a slot on a rotary table; when the table is rotated, the cross-table is moved in the (x, y) directions, thus moving the metal sheet underneath the punch which operates on a fixed vertical axis. The rotary table is pref. driven electrically. One punch and die can be used to produce a wide variety of holes and slots in sheet metal workpieces. |
