description The arrangement is used for determination of the start of injection in internal combustion engines with fuel injection. The start of the injection period is controlled by relatively simple means and it improves the quality of control. The injection nozzle has a needle whose impact on the nozzle holder, on the start of injection, is sensed by a transducer on the nozzle holder. The signal generated at the start of injection and the signal generated on scanning the dead centre of the engine are compared for detecting the correctness of injection start. The transducer (6) on the engine housing is coupled to a display device (8) electrically by means of a charge amplifier (7). The dead centre scanning transducer (5) is alos coupled to the display device. A stroboscope can be used for scanning the dead centre.
