Beer dispenser tap valve seat - has threaded spindle drive for seat reaching into valve with integral seat

Beer dispenser tap is for use on "party" barrels or containers under internal pressure and has a valve seat at right angles to the axis of the riser line and vertically acting threaded spindle is used to move the seal (17) in the axial direction as required. The spindle tap (2) preferably screws into the valve housing (1). Typically the seal is integral with the leading end (16) of the spindle. This end of the spindle may be rounded and convex in shape (17) and thus symmetrical to the axis. The valve seat on the spindle end (16) may be concave in shape and rounded. The spindle thread (3, 3') may comprise one turn or a half-turn.
