Zusammenfassung:	Lead alloy, consisting of min. 99.9% purity lead with tellurium, silver and, if required, arsenic, the novelty being the presence of 0.005-0.05% selenium. Pref. the alloy contains 0.0 1-0.025% selenium, and the selenium may be partly or completely replaced by 0.002-0.012 sulphur, esp. 0.002-0.006% sulphur. The Se and/or S addn. is designed for antimony-free lead alloys used to cast grids for lead accumulators. The castability of the alloy is improved together with feeding characteristics and shrinkage crack and shrinkage porosity are avoided.
