description The lattice-type panel, of reinforced concrete, comprising two chord plates and interconnecting struts, is esp. suitable for use in the load bearing ceilings of hospitals, offices, industrial buildings and parking structures etc. In one of the chord plates, at least, there are cutouts (5), pref. octagonal in shape; this plate (1) is connected to the struts (3) by shafts (4), the base lines of which coincide with the diagonal sides of the cutouts (9). The cutouts and shafts pref. run conically to the centre of the panel. The struts are pref. regularly polygonal, esp. hexagonal, in cross-section. This can be mass-produced, with adequate flexibility, width-spanning, simple partition wall joining, fire-protective and accessible servicing space characteristics.
