Zusammenfassung: | The pump housing (1) contains a boring (2) in which a plunger (3) is able to reciprocate and at the same time turn. A fuel delivery chamber (15) with a delivery pipe union at its upper end and a spring loaded non return valve at its lower end is screwed into the housing above the plunger boring and amplifies fuel impulses. The cylinder boring (2) has inlet and overspill openings (8, 9) in communication with the pump fuel reservoir. The plunger has an axial boring (11) extending from its crown (10) and opening out at an annular regulator groove (12) formed in its outer surface and at right angles to the plunger axis (0). The external annular regulator groove is in communication with the overspill channel (9) when the plunger starts its delivery to produce a gradual pressure. Since the overspill channel opening is elliptical, four sections are available to regulate the return flow when the plunger is turned. |
