Zusammenfassung:White devitrified glass fabrication by elaborating a glass of the CaO-MgO Al2O3-SiO2 system casting the molten glass opacified by phase separation and forming a sheet of glass which is devitrified by heating stearate of 5-10 degrees C/min. up to 1050-1080 degrees C, holding at this temp. for 1 hr (max) then cooling to the vitrifying temp. Cheaper raw products e.g. sand limestone/chalk, dolomite and soda can be used.
