| Zusammenfassung: | The filter for suspensions comprises a vessel with sealed suspension inlet and outlet connections and axially arranged hollow rotating shaft with one or more discs provided on one or both sides with a filter element, whereby a blade wiper is fitted to each filter element, which enables the deposited cake to be removed by means of circular or rectilinear motion of the wipers. Scrapers on the rotating discs keep the wipers free from deposits and conveying means are fitted on the shaft to transfer the removed cake towards the discharge port. Simple construction, higher filtration efficiency and lower pressure drops are claimed. |
