Zusammenfassung:	This application relates to the separation of C8 aromatic mixtures and more particularly the separation of paraxylene from admixture with any combination of its isomers and/or ethylbenzene. The separation is accomplished by contacting a feed stream containing paraxylene and at least one other constituent selected from the group consisting of orthoxylene, metaxylene and ethylbenzene with a modified type Y zeolite containing predominantly potassium ions and having a unit-cell size of 24.50 to 24.75 Angstroms.
