Zusammenfassung:	A saw blade profile has groups of cutting teeth each with a leading tooth (1) with a narrower cutting profile than the following clearing teeth (2,3) and with a cutting tip (11) higher than that of the clearing teeth. The tooth tips are formed by plastic deformation prior. The clearing teeth are in pairs with each pair having a different set. The design is applicable to band saws and circular saws.
