Zusammenfassung:	The remote controller contains a switching device for switching several functions on a motor vehicle on and off, whereby the switching device contains at least one function switch (3). The switching device contains a changeover device (4), esp. a mechanical rotary, slider or toggle switch, for changing over the currently assigned function. The remote controller and switching device can be integrated into a vehicle key. The temporary switching on of vehicle external lighting devices can be a function assigned to a function switch. Central locking, alarm and/or interior light switching can be functions assigned to a function switch.
