Zusammenfassung:Foamed material is cut to 0.1-4 mm in length before its surface solidifies, and is continuously cooled, being supplied on the surface of an endless pate between the endless plate and guide rolls moving in the opposite direction to the endless plate, spaced at a distance shorter than the diameter of the material and rotated at the same circumferential speed as that of the endless plate. This guide rolls are also rotated by the friction between the rolls and the material. Cooling prevents deformation due to gravitational force and cooling time is adjusted by varying rotational speed of guide rolls.
