Temperature compensating diodes 123, 124 are provided to correct the voltage on capacitor 120. The resulting D.C. signal is differentiated and amplified and fed to a differential amplifier 160, 170 also fed with a reference signal set on a potentiometer 171. If the resulting signal at the collector of transistor 160 is less than a predetermined value, a monostable multivibrator 220, 230 is triggered to deliver a pulse through amplifier 90. The trailing edge of this pulse turns off a transistor 210 to start a Miller integrator 200, 201, 202 and when the voltage on the base of transistor 190 rises above that on the base of transistor 180, the multivibrator is again triggered, so that the pulse repitition rate varies with the voltage applied to the base of transistor 180. If this voltage is sufficiently low, it is always less than that on the base of transistor 190 so that a continuous D.C. signal is transmitted through amplifier 90. |
