Another example describes the production of an electrically conductive felt by impregnating the felt with silver nitrate which is decomposed to metallic silver. The mechanical properties of the asbestos felt may be modified by pulverising the treated asbestos and simultaneously compressing and sintering to produce moulded articles. |
