Zusammenfassung:Water-insoluble dyestuff mixtures consists of an asymmetric dyestuff of the general formula and two symmetrical dyestuffs of the general formula in which formulae R1 is a phenyl radical optionally substituted by alkyl, alkoxy or chlorine, or naphthyl, and R2 is an aromatic or heterocyclic radical which may contain non-water solubilizing groups, provided that when one coupling component in the mixture of two coupling components used to prepared the mixture dyestuffs is 1-acetoacetylamino-2-methoxybenzene the other coupling component is neither 1-acetoacetylamino-2,4-dimethylbenzene nor 1-acetoacetylamino-2,5-dimethoxy-4-chlorobenzene. R2 may be an optionally substituted phenyl group or a naphthalene, carbazole, carbostyril, benzimidazole, benzimidazolone, pyridine, benzindazole, benzotriazole, benzothiazole or ethoxybenzothiazole. The dyestuffs are prepared by conventional means, the coupling components preferably being mixed in the molar ratio of 1:1 to 20:1. The product may be heated with an organic solvent or a resin soap. The yellow pigments obtained are used for dyeing or colouring plastic masses, synthetic and natural resins, laquers and lakeformers, spinning masses, printing paper and textiles.
