Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a strainer element (10) for a fuel filter element (100) that includes a multistage water separation device (48). The strainer element (10) comprises a tubular strainer (12) and a supporting tube (22) which surrounds the strainer (12) in a direction extending radially in relation to the longitudinal axis (14) of the strainer element (10). Connecting webs (18), by means of which the supporting tube (18) is joined to the strainer (12) in such a way that a gap (30) is formed, are molded onto the supporting tube (22). The invention further relates to a fuel filter element comprising the aforementioned strainer element.
