The plug connector (10) has two connector parts (12,14) that can be joined and latched together and a securing element movably mounted on one of the two elements that is spring loaded in an initial position in which it especially secures the latched connection of the two parts. The securing element is provided with at least one molded on plastic spring with which it is loaded into its initial position.
