Die Erfindung betrifft ein Deckelelement, das auf Zellkulturgefäße, in denen in einem flüssigen Medium enthaltene Zellen aufgenommen sind. Das erfindungsgemäße Deckelelement soll eine Bestimmung von Stoffwechselaktivitäten von in den Zellkulturgefäßen enthaltenen Zellen, mit optischen Messmethoden ermöglichen, wobei das durch einfache Handhabung beim Laborpersonal erreicht werden kann. DOLLAR A Am auf die Zellkulturgefäße aufsetzbaren Deckelelement sind lichtführende Elemente vorhanden, die in aufgesetzter Stellung des Deckelelementes in das Innere von Kavitäten des Zellgefäßes hineinragen. Auf einer Stirnfläche und/oder auf der äußeren Mantelfläche der lichtführenden Elemente, die bevorzugt als stabförmige Lichtwellenleiter ausgebildet sind, ist mindestens eine optisch sensitive Schicht, zur Detektion von innerhalb der Kavitäten sich verändernden chemischen Stoffkonzentrationen, ausgebildet. |
