Die Erfindung betrifft eine Heizeinrichtung zum außenseitigen Beheizen eines rohrförmigen Bauteiles, umfassend ein innerhalb eines axial geschlitzten Mantelrohres angeordnetes elektrisches Heizelement, welches gemeinsam mit dem Mantelrohr auf das rohrförmige Bauteil aufschiebbar ist, wobei das Mantelrohr an seinen axialen Enden mit ringförmig nach innen vorstehenden Vorsprüngen ausgebildet ist, zwischen denen das Heizelement angeordnet ist. Die Vorsprünge sind integral einstückig mit dem Mantelrohr als nach innen umgebogener Bördelrand desselben ausgebildet. Es wird ferner auch ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer derartigen Heizeinrichtung angegeben.
