Erfindungsgemäß weist die Batterieanordnung für eine leichtgängige Querverlagerung der Traktionsbatterie (5) zumindest ein Stellmittel (23) auf, mit dem die Traktionsbatterie (5) im Seitencrashfall um einen Hubweg ( d) gegenüber dem Fahrzeugboden (1) absenkbar ist.
