Zusammenfassung: | The method for connecting a metal body (4) with a plastic body (6), comprises arranging the metal body in overlap with the plastic body, and guiding a rotating welding pin (18) with a contact pressing force (22) over the metal body in such a way that the plastic material is plasticized in the area of the overlap and the plastic body is adhered by adhesion on a contact surface of the metal body. The contact surface of the metal body is roughened. In the contact surface, an indentation is subjected, in which the plasticized plastic material penetrates into the plastic body. The method for connecting a metal body (4) with a plastic body (6), comprises arranging the metal body in overlap with the plastic body, and guiding a rotating welding pin (18) with a contact pressing force (22) over the metal body in such a way that the plastic material is plasticized in the area of the overlap and the plastic body is adhered by adhesion on a contact surface of the metal body. The contact surface of the metal body is roughened. In the contact surface, an indentation is subjected, in which the plasticized plastic material penetrates into the plastic body. The indentation extends in longitudinal direction of the overlap through the metal body. A material accumulation to be plasticized is provided on the plastic body in the area of the overlap. The material accumulation and the indentation have same volume. The process parameter such as contact pressing force, number of revolutions, feed rate (24) and an effective diameter of the welding pin is adjusted in dependent upon a material strength of the metal body in the area of the overlap. The number of revolutions of the welding pin is increased with increasing material strength of the metal body. The feed rate of the welding pin is slowed down with increasing material strength of the metal body. The diameter of the welding pin is enlarged with increasing material strength of the metal body. The welding pin is pressed on the metal body with contact pressing force of 5000 N. The number of revolution is 1500 U/min and/or the feed rate is 30 mm/min.
Offenbart ist ein Verfahren zum Verbinden eines Metallkörpers 4 mit einem Kunststoffkörper 6 in Überlappung, wobei durch Führen eines Schweißstiftes 18 über den Metallkörper 4 der Kunststoffkörper 6 bereichsweise plastifiziert wird und sich unter Adhäsionswirkung mit dem Metallkörper 4 verbindet. |
