Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:The line includes heated drying cylinders (2, 3) contacting the fibrous web (1). At least one of them (3) is a high-performance drying cylinder. In a novel arrangement, on one side of the web, there are fewer high-performance drying cylinders (3) than on the other side. This applies in a single drying group. The high-performance drying cylinders are arranged on only one side of the web. They are located after a coating unit (6). Following a single-sided coating process, the high-performance cylinders are located exclusively or predominantly on one side. One-sided arrangement prevents curling tendency. All, or the majority of normal drying cylinders make contact with the underside of the web, and all or the majority of high-performance cylinders contact the upper side of the web. Further configuration variants are described. Normal- and high-performance cylinders are of similar diameter. The temperatures of the high-performance drying cylinders preferably exceed 100-105 [deg]C. The high-performance cylinders transmit higher thermal flux densities than normal cylinders; the values exceed 25-38 kW/m2>, or even exceed 42 kW/m2>. The high-performance cylinders are heated using a hot fluid, the internal pressure in the fluid space within the cylinder preferably being about 4 bar.
