Mittels der Luftleitflächen wird erreicht, daß ein relativ großer Anteil der seitlich anströmenden, eventuell rauchhaltigen Luft durch die Einströmöffnungen in das Gehäuse und damit in die Detektionskammer einströmt, wodurch der Wirkungsgrad des Rauchdetektors (1, 1', 1'') insgesamt wesentlich verbessert wird.
