BIPHENYLMETHYL SUBSTITUTED PYRIDONES

Biphenylmethyl-substituted pyridones are prepared by reaction of pyridones with appropriate biphenylmethyl compounds. Biphenylmethyl-substituted pyridones can be employed as active compounds in medicaments, in particular for the treatment of arterial hypertension and atherosclerosis.
