In the present invention there is disclosed an arrangement of exhaust channel of a vacuum cleaner by-pass unit, which by-pass unit comprises a motor and a delivery fan unit for producing vacuum, wherein said delivery fan is encircled by a fan cover (2) fastened on a motor end shield (1), and it further comprises a system of air exhaust channel. The invention is characterized in that said end shield (1), being made of thermoplastic, has on the side turned to the fan impeller (8) an annular peripheral region with radius ribs (3) uniformly arranged thereon. The ribs (3) front end is close to the annular region internal diameter corresponding to outside diameter of the fan impeller (8), and the ribs (3) extending toward outside diameter of the annular region form guide walls defining guide channels (9) for exhaust of air leaving guide blades of the fan impeller (8), whereby the height of the ribs (3) increases in the direction toward said annular region outside diameter and the ribs (3) are provided at their free ends with fixing ribs (4) separated from the rib (3) internal body by a groove the depth of which is less than the rib (3) height at this point, whereby said a peripheral region of fan cover (2) side wall (5) provided with a securing edge (6) is seated in this groove. |
