Here, the material is crosslinked by the action of energy having particularly shape of ultra violet ray beam (3) within a range that is sufficient for removal of the to contact lens (CL) from the mold (1). Both halves (11, 12) of the mold (1) are maintained at slight distance from each other and so they form a narrow slit (16) for supply of a sufficient amount of additive material and for discharge of excessive material. The mold (1) is provided with means for mold (1) masking, which means are shaped to the form of a mask (21) screening, except for the mold (1) cavity (15), all the other voids of the mold (1) containing non-crosslinked material, respectively the mold (1) partition walls (17, 18) coming into contact with this material, against
