Zusammenfassung:The solution concerns 1,5-dioxa-3,3-bis(chloromethyl)-8,8,9,10,10,-pentamethyl-9-azaspiro[5,5]undecane of formula I. The above mentioned compound is prepared in the following manner: 1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4-oxopiperidine of formula II reacts with 1,3-dichloro-2,2-dihydroxymethylpropane of formula III at a temperature of reversed current of hydrocarbonic solvent, which results in origination of azeotropic mixture with water, like benzene, toluene or xylenes, in presence of acid catalyser, like 4-toluenesulfonic acid. The compound of formula I can be used as light stabiliser for polymers and for preparation of polymeric light stabilisers by polycondensing reactions, preparation of polyethers, polythioethers, polyesters or polycarbonates.
